Punta Tunich
Punta Tunich is a reef dive that’s commonly scheduled as a second dive. The northern end of the reef is described as the most interesting, and it’s best visited when a south-to-north current is running. Divers can encounter large green moray eels along the reef, and turtles may be seen hiding in nearby seagrass.
Typical conditions
A south-to-north current can be present and is considered the preferred condition for approaching the reef’s northern end.
