The MUC (Majestic Unicorn Cove) is a sheltered shore dive off Leigh, New Zealand, with upgraded stairs down from Harbour View Road, a shallow sandy start that turns into rocky reef and kelp forest, and plenty of cracks and octopus holes to explore. It works especially well as a late-afternoon or early-evening dive, when the cove feels relaxed and the walk back up the stairs is the main workout.
