Best Season
October to April is the most reliable window around Mirbat and Salalah, after the June to September monsoon period when sea state and visibility are more stable.
Typical Conditions
Usually a shallow nearshore wreck dive with long bottom time. Conditions in Dhofar are highly seasonal: outside the summer bloom and monsoon period, visibility is commonly better, while summer swell and plankton can reduce clarity and cancel trips.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Key Hazards
Safety Notes
Treat this as a shallow wreck with seasonal sea-state limits rather than a guaranteed easy checkout. Run it in settled weather, watch for reduced visibility after monsoon influence, and keep new divers and snorkelers on the outside of the structure.

Scuba Diving
Shallow wreck dive suitable for beginners and Basic Divers.
Snorkeling
Because the wreck is shallow and close inshore, it can work for confident snorkelers in calm conditions when visibility is decent and surface support is available.
