Octopus Rock
Octopus Rock is a notable dive site in Musandam, characterized by a variety of underwater features including large and small rocks, slopes, and sandy bottoms, along with a diverse array of corals. The site has an average depth ranging from 14 to 32 meters, making it suitable for divers with varying experience levels. It is recommended to conduct two or three dives to fully explore the area. Divers should be aware of the currents that can occur, particularly during strong tidal movements. Marine life is abundant, with sightings of schools of Jack fish, Fusiliers, Snappers, Batfish, Giant Trevally, Scorpion fish, Moray Eels, Lobsters, Cuttlefish, and even Seahorses.
