The western side of Al Fahal is a boat-access Muscat reef with shallower slopes, a steeper edge, and caves or swim-throughs depending on the line you take. It is a good site for calm days when you want a mix of easy reef structure and bigger Omani marine life: nudibranchs, octopuses, cuttlefish, turtles, rays, barracuda, and schools of reef fish. On better days the coral and water clarity make it feel like a classic half-day city dive.
