Tamarindo Beach is a sheltered Culebra reserve beach with easy shore access, calm water, and shallow reef and seagrass habitat that make it one of the island's best-known snorkel stops. The beach also works well for relaxed freediving and shallow scuba, with turtles, rays, reef fish, and a protected no-take setting. Drive in, bring water shoes for rocky sections, and use the calmest morning conditions for the easiest entry.
