Easy Navy-base reef in Apra Harbor with coral, anemones, and lots of fish.
Gab Gab 1 is a sheltered Apra Harbor reef with easy base-side beach access, coral growth, anemone beds, and plenty of reef fish. The broad site has a shallow first reef and a deeper outer section, so it works well as a training dive when base access, entry timing, and local conditions line up. Divers without military access can sometimes reach the outer reef by boat.
