Blairgowrie Pier is a protected Mornington Peninsula shore dive with a recently built dive platform, shallow water, and a long pier structure that makes it a classic macro hunt. It works best as a slow, buoyancy-conscious dive for photographers and critter searchers, especially when spider crabs are moving through in winter. Expect nudibranchs, seahorses, octopus, cuttlefish, and dense fish life under the pylons.
