The Gravel Loader is a Bass Point jetty dive in Shellharbour, where the old loader, its pylons, and the nearby moorings create a clear structure dive with plenty to inspect. The site rewards patient cruising along the jetty and around its end, with fish often holding station in the water column and small life tucked into the sheltered bits. On calm days it can produce grey nurse sharks, cuttlefish, lionfish, banded coral shrimp, blue groper, old wife, kingfish, and other reef regulars.
