Fulidhoo Caves is a Fulidhoo boat dive on the back reef where a sloping coral top turns into wide overhangs and cave-like sections. The site is known for soft coral on the shaded faces, a rich mix of reef fish, and regular sightings of moray eels, wrasse, sharks, rays, and barracuda. It is best approached as a guided reef-and-overhang dive, with the channel side and night dives rewarding patient, controlled exploration.

Key Hazards
Safety Notes
Current and overhead space are the key risks here; keep the dive conservative and stay inside your training.
Access Restrictions
Boat dive only; local dive centers choose whether to run the site based on current and diver experience.
Legal Notes
Stay within guide limits in the overhangs and do not treat the cave sections as casual swim-throughs.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Good for a sunset or night dive, with overhangs and soft coral on the channel side; keep an eye on current and overhead awareness.
Freediving
Not a freedive-first site; the depth and overhangs make it a scuba site.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is limited to the shallow reef edge and is not the main use case.
