About Garang Heang/Hin Klai
Garang Heang/Hin Klai is a submerged coral pinnacle east of Phi Phi Leh with a shallow crown and a sandy base. It is known for healthy coral, shark sightings, and a mix of reef fish, making it a good fit for divers who are comfortable with boat-only access and timing the dive around current. The site feels more like an open-water pinnacle than a sheltered reef, so slack-tide planning matters more here than at the calmer Phi Phi bays.
