Baracuda Point is a North Male Atoll channel drift on the reef north of Akirifushi Island. The route mixes outer-reef shelves, current-swept channel water, and sheltered overhangs, so divers move from blue-water cruising to tighter reef contours as the flow changes. It is best when you are comfortable with drift timing, buoyancy control, and a boat pickup that follows the current rather than fighting it. The site is known for dense fish life, barracuda, jacks, snapper, sharks, and rays.

Scuba Diving
Best as a guided boat drift with careful pickup timing; nitrox can help if you want more runtime on a longer drift.
Freediving
Only for very experienced freedivers with boat support and current awareness; this is not a relaxed freedive site.
Snorkeling
Not a primary snorkel site. The useful terrain sits on a current-influenced reef line rather than a calm lagoon.
