High-current Farasan Banks reef with caves and pelagic life.
High-current Farasan Banks reef with caves and pelagic life.
MarMar is one of the major Farasan Banks reefs, with an east wall that drops from the surface into very deep water and caves and caverns along the reef. The north plateau is the famous washing-machine zone, where current can run hard and make the site suitable only for experienced divers. Expect reef fish, pelagic visitors, and a big-water Red Sea profile.
