Miyaru Kandu is a channel dive site in the northeast of Vaavu Atoll, also known as “Shark Channel.” It is named for the sharks that can be seen in the middle of the channel. The site is generally better suited to advanced divers due to the possibility of strong currents, though it can be suitable for less experienced divers when currents are lighter.
