Watamula is a boat-only reef dive off Curaçao's west coast near Westpunt, with a shallow shelf that drops into alternating hard- and soft-coral fields and then a sand floor farther offshore. The dive is current-driven and can change direction quickly, so it is better planned as a drift-style boat day with good buoyancy, guide-led entries and pickups, and steady awareness of the pickup zone. Expect dense coral structure, reef fish, moray eels, turtles, rays, and occasional larger pelagics.
