About Cabuan

Cabuan is a southern Camiguin sanctuary dive built around a sloping reef, giant clams, and mixed coral cover. The site moves from a shallow coral zone into a steeper face, so the shape changes as you work along the slope rather than staying flat and repetitive. It is best on calmer windows, because current can build where the island tip funnels water across the reef.

Scuba Diving

A sloping sanctuary dive with a shallow coral zone, a deeper reef face to around 35m, and a profile that suits steady reef cruising.

Freediving

Not the primary fit; the boat access, slope, and current make it better suited to scuba than casual breath-hold diving.

Snorkeling

Better as a scuba dive than a snorkel stop, since the most interesting structure sits along a deeper slope and current can build.
