About This Dive Spot
The Kogyo Maru, also referred to as the Ekkai Maru, is an Imperial Japanese Navy auxiliary supply ship that was targeted by US Task Force 38 on September 24, 1944. The wreck is notable for its cargo of construction materials, including a bulldozer, cement bags, and a mixer, which are still visible in the hold.
