About This Dive Spot

Kogyo Maru is a World War II shipwreck of an Imperial Japanese Navy auxiliary supply vessel, locally also called the Ekkai Maru. It was attacked on 24 September 1944 and still shows cargo in the hold such as a bulldozer and construction materials. The wreck is surrounded by healthy marine growth including hard and soft corals and sponges, and it is known for good fish life in the area.
