About This Dive Spot

A volcanic reef running parallel to the shoreline in front of dune-backed beaches. The dive typically starts on top of the reef around 10 m before descending down the slope toward sandy bottom, reaching about 18–20 m, then continuing north or south along the reef edge. In winter there are good chances of seeing angel sharks, with rays possible year-round. Jacks, barracudas, and schools of sardines are commonly seen out in the blue.
