This is a boat-only Similan site for confident divers, usually run as a free descent onto current-sensitive granite structure with most of the real route in the mid-teens and deeper.
About Elephant Head Rock
Elephant Head Rock is an open-water granite pinnacle south of Similan Island 8, where towering boulders, deep channels, arches, and swim-throughs create one of the most dramatic routes in the Similans. Clear blue water and active mid-water life are part of the draw, but the site feels serious because current, surge, and route depth can shift the dive quickly.
