About Turtle Rock
Turtle Rock is a dive site on the west side of Island No. 8 in the Koh Similan area. It is named after a granite formation that resembles a turtle. Divers can encounter turtles along with gorgonians and staghorn coral, plus schools of yellowtail barracuda. Batfish, angelfish, and trumpetfish are also seen, and leopard sharks or whitetip reef sharks may appear at times.
