Mermaid’s Lair is a boat-access reef and canyon site off Ambergris Caye with a shallow top and deeper finger-canyon sections. It works well for guided scuba or snorkeling on calm days, with clear water, strong Caribbean reef fish life, and enough structure to keep the route interesting without turning into a heavy current site. The canyon layout gives it more drama than a plain house reef while still staying approachable when conditions are settled.
