About Carnatic Wreck
Carnatic Wreck is an iconic Abu Nuhas Red Sea wreck dive, a 19th-century cargo-and-passenger ship now draped in coral. The wreck lies on its port side, with exposed ribs, open sections and a clear reef-and-wreck feel that rewards a tidy route. It is a boat-only, advanced dive with moderate current and very good visibility, so it suits divers who are comfortable managing depth and ascent control. Stingrays, morays, lionfish, snapper and other reef fish make the site feel busy around the hull.
