Quarter Wreck is a shallow boat-access wreck and reef dive in Grand Anse Bay where the stern of the Courier lies upside down beside coral growth, sand patches, scattered plates, and nearby engine debris. It works well as an easy wreck introduction and underwater photography site, with plenty of small crevices and coral-covered structure that attract barracuda, lobsters, shrimp, nudibranchs, eels, rays, and the occasional seahorse.

Best Season
Quarter Wreck is commonly dived year-round as a shallow Grand Anse Bay site, with calmer Caribbean conditions often making it an easy option for training and relaxed photography dives.
Typical Conditions
Typical conditions combine a shallow wreck fragment, coral bed, sand patches, and gentle exploration pace rather than deep penetration or high-energy blue-water diving.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Key Hazards
Safety Notes
This is usually an easy shallow dive, but stay oriented around the scattered wreck pieces and surface carefully because the site is reached by boat in a busy bay.
Access Restrictions
Quarter Wreck is normally dived by boat from Grand Anse or nearby St. George's operations rather than by independent shore entry.
Legal Notes
Quarter Wreck sits within the Grand Anse Bay dive area where local operator moorings and marine-use rules may affect how boats approach and tie in, so verify current procedures with the dive operator.

Freediving
Quarter Wreck is shallow enough for breath-hold visits, but it is generally run as a scuba boat dive rather than a dedicated freedive site.
Snorkeling
The site is shallow, but most visits are arranged as dive-boat trips focused on the wreck pieces and reef life below the surface rather than routine snorkel drops.
