About The Crack at Pulau Babi
The Crack at Pulau Babi is a north-side reef feature where an earthquake split the reef into a narrow crack, steep wall, and coral-covered drop-off. The dive rewards patient looking on the wall and over the edge, with leaf scorpionfish, nudibranchs, frogfish, turtles, sharks, and giant trevallies all in play. It is best approached by boat with a guide, because the crack itself is too narrow to swim through and conditions matter. Scuba is the main fit, with freediving limited to very experienced guests who just want to view the structure from above.
