Maaya Thila, North Ari Atoll
This thila dive site was once ranked among the worldโs top 10 and became especially popular for night diving. The shallow top has suffered significant diver-related damage, but conditions are described as acceptable from about 12 m. Deeper pinnacles around the thila are highlighted for shark action and large schools of fish. Night dives feature hunting activity from large jacks and whitetip reef sharks.
