Panglima Abu is a shore reef off the northwest of Pulau Perhentian Kecil, with easy beach access and a shallow mixed-coral profile that suits beginner training, check dives, and relaxed snorkel sessions. It is a better pick in the pre- and post-monsoon windows when eastern winds are softer, and the reef usually rewards patient searching with schools of reef fish, barracuda, parrotfish, snapper, and seasonal turtles.
