El Colector is a boat-accessed temperate reef dive off San Sebastián that runs across a set of east-west slabs beside the old collector structure. It is best approached as a slow, structure-following dive: the site starts shallow and gradually steps down, with crevices, rocky bottom, and plenty of macro life to search for between the slabs. Cold water and variable currents are part of the planning, so buoyancy, exposure protection, and a measured pace matter more than speed.
