La Emboscada
About La Emboscada
A shallow reef top drops quickly into a steep wall that transitions into a cooled lava flow, with lava “fingers” extending out over a sandy slope. In the northeast area, rock needles stand in front of the wall, creating gorges, with additional breaks and small caves found a bit deeper. The reef top is described as holding shoals of fish, while larger predatory species patrol in front of the wall.
