Kuroshima South is a boat-access coral reef on the south side of Kuroshima in the Kerama Islands, with attractive reef scenery and seasonal manta chances in October and November. Currents can appear, but divers can usually stay in weaker-flow areas, so the site remains workable for beginner dives on the right day. Reef fish school along the reef, and the site rewards calm, controlled buoyancy.
