Kuroshima South is a dive point on the southern side of Kuroshima in the Kerama Islands, known for its attractive coral reef scenery. During the Kerama manta season from October to November, giant oceanic manta rays may sometimes be seen feeding at the surface. Currents can occur, but divers can stay in areas where the flow is relatively mild, making it suitable for beginner dives. Schools of reef fish gather along the reef.
