Nazumado
About Nazumado
Nazumado is a dive site on the west side of the island, facing Hachijo Kojima. The site features a walled reef with a steep drop down the slope, and ropes are set up to assist divers with entry and exit. It is known for frequent sea turtle encounters, often allowing close observation. In spring, a wide variety of nudibranchs can be found, and butterflyfish are seen as juveniles and gathering to lay eggs.
