This site is made up of two separate areas divided by a sandy plateau at about 8 m. To the south there is a large lagoon averaging around 12 m, while to the north and northwest a long, sloping reef (faru) runs from roughly 10 m down to 30 m. It is known for attractive coral and seasonal manta encounters, along with dense schools of glassfish. Turtles, shrimps, moray eels, and a variety of tropical reef fish are also reported.
