Cathedral is one of Aliwal Shoal's signature reef dives, built around a broad rock bowl and archways that collect schooling fish and shelter ragged-tooth sharks in season. Outside the sheltered pocket, the dive opens into blue water where rays, hammerheads, and other passing pelagics can appear when current and visibility line up.
