Best dived with a local guide because current, route choice, and pickup all change with the north-coast drift.

Boat access from the north-coast speedboat route; expect an experienced-guide drift and a deeper profile than the easy reef sites.

About Sental

Sental is a north-coast Nusa Penida drift reef between SD and Buyuk, with a wider coral plateau dropping into a steeper slope and active blue-water passes. The site is known for healthy coral, nudibranchs, crabs, turtles, barracuda, tunas, and seasonal mola mola or sharks when the current lines up. Plan it as a guided boat dive, because the entry point, drift line, and pickup all depend on how the current is moving that day.
