A channel dive in Maakandu channel, typically started at the eastern corner and timed for an incoming tide. Inside the channel, the reef includes a manta point around 19–25 m that can attract large numbers of mantas. Encounters are variable, but sightings can include very close passes by mantas, and the site may also host napoleon wrasse when mantas are absent.
