Makena Landing combines a park entry with an offshore reef, making it a flexible South Maui spot for shore diving and snorkeling.

About Makena Landing

Makena Landing is a South Maui shore-dive area on Maui's south coast, anchored by a public park, boat ramp, and a shallow offshore reef known as Turtle Town and Five Caves. Divers enter from the landing, then work along lava fingers, arches, caves, and ledges on a calm-morning window. The site is a good fit for turtle spotting and easy reef exploration when swell and wind stay light.
