About Owase
Owase sits on the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula along a rias-style coastline with complex terrain and several nearby islands that form the main dive highlights. The area is accessible from both Kansai and Chubu. Divers can expect encounters with a variety of coastal fish and, in summer through autumn, an influx of tropical species. Larger animals such as sharks, rays, and sea turtles may also be seen.
