Boahura Express lies on the outer reef side of a faru, featuring a steep reef slope of around 45 degrees that transitions into a dramatic drop-off. From about 30 m the reef becomes a sheer wall descending into deeper water. The site is known for schools of reef fish such as snappers, fusiliers, and sweetlips. Larger encounters can include turtles, tuna, and sharks, with occasional sightings of juvenile whitetip reef sharks resting under rocks.
