About Mirko's Reef
Mirko’s Reef is a long sea mound off the east end of Meno, stretching along much of the island. It’s described as a beautiful deep dive known for its coral. The reef is noted for small critters such as glass shrimp and porcelain crabs, along with larger life including sharks, eagle rays, and stingrays. Schools of snapper, fusilier, and triggerfish are commonly seen moving across the reef.
