Playa La Salemera is a volcanic shore dive from a black-sand cove with bright sandy patches, yellow sponges, shallow arches, and an easy-to-read lava profile. The route mixes open rock, sand breaks, and overhead sections, so buoyancy and entry timing matter as much as the swim. On calmer days it is a relaxed scenic dive; when wind freshens, the shorebreak and surface chop become the main planning factor. Groupers, amberjacks, tuna, stingrays, and other reef life round out the profile.
